There may be instances in which a location pop-up won't open despite the pop-up feature being enabled on the Map. Instead of a pop-up being displayed, only a 'loading circle’ appears.
The following are the possible reasons and the corresponding steps on how to solve each of them.
Using an old version of the MapifyPro plugin
It is necessary to upgrade your MapifyPro plugin to its latest version. Once updated, please perform the following:
1. Clear your WordPress cache
2. Clear your CDN cache
3. Clear your local browser cache
SSL settings are not enabled for the site
Do have a look at the SSL settings and ensure that they are enabled for your site. Tip: The Really Simple SSL plugin for WordPress works great for HTTP to HTTPS redirection to make sure that all of your resources are referenced using HTTPS.
A jQuery conflict
This could have been caused by a 'jQuery' conflict. To troubleshoot this, deactivate all of your plugins, then reactivate them one by one while testing your map page.
This could also be due to Rocket Loader if you are using Cloudflare. Please follow these instructions to disable rocket loader only for MapifyPro and WooCommerce (and for anything else that uses jQuery):
How To Fix Cloudflare's Rocket Loader Conflict With jQuery | Elegant Themes Help Center (intercom.help)
URL matches to exclude:
https://mysite.com/*mapify*
https://mysite.com/*woocommerce*
And as always, please purge your Cloudflare cache after doing the above.
Plugins and Themes are out-of-date
It always helps to check that the Plugins and Themes are up-to-date for your MapifyPro plugin. Following this, it is recommended to temporarily take out any custom CSS and see if that resolves the issue.
In most cases, the above steps would resolve the pop-up issue on your map.
