Pending Admin Approval of Submitted Locations

If the 'admin approval' is enabled in the CrowdMaps settings of MapifyPro, the map locations that were added by your site visitors will remain pending until the site administrator approves them. These are managed and approved in the CrowdMaps section of MapifyPro.

Approving Added Locations

1. Navigate to CrowdMaps within the MapifyPro section.  

2. Under CrowdMaps Inbox, there is a list of submitted locations pending the admin approval.

3. Click Edit to view each submitted map location. 

4. Review the information. NOTE: Changes can be done by the administrator, e.g. adding/removing photos, changing the settings, etc.

4. If the location is approved, click Publish to enable it on the map. 

5. If the location is disapproved, either click Trash for the required location for it to be deleted or leave it as it is and do not publish.

Can Site Visitors Edit the Locations They Have Submitted?

No. With CrowdMaps, site visitors can only add locations on the map. If a location needs to be edited after it has been submitted, then only the administrator of the wp-admin site can update it.
