Method 1: Database Backup and Restore
Warning: This is currently not supported. Use the following advice at your own risk!
This is possible if you back up and restore your entire database. This way, the post IDs do not change. This is important because the Map Locations are linked to the Maps using the WordPress Post ID of the map. Therefore, it is important that the maps post IDs must not change.
Some customers have successfully used the plugin UpdraftPlus - Backup/Restore. MapifyPro does not endorse nor provide support for this process.
Method 2: Export and Import
This feature is not yet available.
You may want to export and import Map Location data from one WordPress site to another.
Exporting map and location data is something on our roadmap, however we are unable to provide a date when this will be delivered.
Please feel free to check back with us regarding the status of the export feature.
Method 3: Unsupported Workaround
Warning: This is currently not supported. Use the following advice at your own risk!
Since all map and location data is stored as native WordPress posts, it is possible to export them all, however, please note that the Map Locations are linked to the Maps using the WordPress Post ID of the map. Therefore, we would advise that when importing, the map IDs must not change. This could be a problem if you are importing into an already-populated site, however may not be a problem if you are importing into a blank site.
Some customers have successfully used the WP All Import / Export plugin. MapifyPro does not endorse nor provide support for this process.
