# API Key Activation

1. Log onto your wp-admin site.
2. Navigate to Settings > MapifyPro Activation.

3. ​​Enter your API activation key in the 'API Key' field. 
4. Click on 'Save Changes.'

**NOTE:** MapifyPro uses OpenStreetMap for our maps and therefore no Google API key is required.
